  – Cabin living in Haparanda's archipelago


Seskarö south is a beautifully situated on Seskarö's southwestern peninsula, about 5 kilometers from the village.

The island is covered with thick forrest and long beaches.Within walking distance is by far one of Seskarö's

most beautiful beaches.


During the week you will have the possibility to follow along with the fisherman that fish

around the islands as they empty and re-set their equipment.

After such an adventure, you have the option to purchase some of the fresh caught fish for dinner.





We meet in Seskarö located approximately 20 minutes from Haparanda, from there we will continue our travels

to Seskarö south, which is approximately a 15 minute drive. Once we have arrived we will go through all the

information pertaining to the cabin together.


At the fishing camp the possibilities include but are not limited to, swimming, sunbathing, peaceful walks,

fishing, which can be done from a boat available to rent or the shore. Bikes are available to barrow at the cabin,

to make exploration of the island a little easier and fun, and of course the sauna, to make the summer

evenings even more relaxingly pleasant while enjoying the rays of the midnight sun.



After six wonderful days it's time to return home. The cabin is to be cleaned and prepared for departure before noon.




Seskarö south includes two fishing cabins full of history.

The first cabin has a propane stove with two burners, pots, dishes and room to sleep four.

The second cabin sleeps up to three. Should it turn cold both cabins are equipped with wood burning stoves.

Water, which is to gathered in the well next to the cabin. Cold storage or refrigerated items are to be stored

in the ice cellar nearby.

Close to the beach is the wood fired sauna, perfectly situated for a refreshing dip

in the sea after basking in the heat of the sauna.

A fire place for grilling or barbecue.

Transportation round trip from Seskarö village to Seskarö south.

Possibility to follow along with the fisherman that fish the islands.

Option to fish with small nets or sport fish from both boat and shore.

At the fishing camp, there are options to sleep up to seven people.
